Does anyone know what type LPI / shoulder dump valve the old Riptide Zone BCD used? I have one which is in great shape but the silicone flap valve on the left shoulder dump valve (attached to the inflator hose) is leaking air and deformed. I've attached some pictures to help identify make of inflator/dump system in hopes to locate the service kit. thanks

My experience is that most brands (Aqualung is the exception) use standard BC parts. If no one else steps up, then I would suggest contacting Dive Gear Express. I think the part you are looking for is this. However they may have a new diaphragm and o-rings to fix the one you have.

If not measure the old valve in mm and see if Trident makes a purge valve to fit it. Here is a link to their catalog.

If it's leaking air from the bladder and out the top then something in addition to the mushroom valve shown in the picture is failing. Air in the bladder is held in by a spring loaded valve until the cord/cable is pulled to unseat it. The mushroom valve helps keep water out of the assembly.

A good soaking in soapy hot water and exercising the valve may be all it needs. If not, you have nothing to lose by taking it apart to find where the failure is. (Most likely a sealing surface or seat in the assembly.) If still no joy and you really like the shoulder dump then replace the assembly with one from DGX. See the link AMS provided. However, I suggest replacing the pull dump with a more dependable plain elbow.

I just checked my junk drawer and found a similar pull dump assembly. The valve seal assembly is made by a plastic plunger that seals against an o-ring. I think I see one in your picture. Try to clean the plunger and lubricate or replace the o-ring. Mine is a size -210

When you assemble the valve, pull down on the plunger and install the o-ring, butterfly valve assembly, then the cap.

In the picture above, a brass pick is pointing to the o-ring in it's correct position.
