Just wondering if anyone can tell me how much difference there is in diving conditions between February and May. For instance, is there a greater chance of rough seas but better visibility in February ? Or any other reasons either month would be better than the other ?
Thanks for any info !

I'm not sure about the difference with clarity or current, but February is during humpback whale season so the upside is you might get to see a whale but the downside is that the sharks generally move out during whale season. We were there in January and the sharks had already "moved out" but we still saw a half dozen reef sharks and 2-3 nurse sharks. As for vis and current, I would contact someone at Sea Saba to ask.

I've been to St. Maarten twice in the March time frame. Quite nice but it can be very windy - enough to affect diving conditions. Best to ask for the local recommendation.
