Phil and I spent a wildly exciting day diving far north of our usual haunts with Captain Andy Saxon. Andy wanted to show us his recent, unique finds: a lone anchor and mysterious structures that have become fish habitats. Phil chose rockpile #9 for our third dive, which yielded a new-to-me nudi, Okenia angelensis, the Los Angeles Okenia.

Besides being endlessly informative on anything related to the ocean, Andy is also a Spongebob enthusiast.
