I am posting this here, because I think this section fits best, as there is no "general scuba talk" forum afaik.
So mods, feel free to move this thread to a better place.

How do you guys deal with your diving addiction?

It's pretty cold here in central Europe right now and I don't own a dry suit (yet), so I went almost crazy without diving lately.
Today I gave in and did a pool dive.
Maximum depth was 3.3m with a dive time of 25 minutes on a 4 liter steel bottle.
I testet my "new" Atom 1.0 and an Aladin Pro, because I changed the battery.
Also practiced frog kicks, breathing from the inflator and diving without mask.
Still got bored a little bit.

I would love to hear any relevant experience from you guys. :)

Diving helps cover the jitters. You need to get a dry suit. :) It extends the season...

I own a drysuit. Went for first real (non pool) dive in three months today. Water temp was 49F. First cold water dive. Good experience, although I'm working through weighting issues.

I read your thread before.
How did it go? :)

I updated in the cold water dive thread. Today was...interesting. :D

I average a 2 dive day weekly.
May/June shore dives at home in NS.
June/Aug. 7 weeks in NY area. Again, shore dives-NY/CT/NJ.
Aug./Oct. shore dives at home in NS.
Nov./Dec., April &/or March--one dive weekly from our house in NS which is on the ocean.
Jan.-Feb./March--snowbirding on N. Gulf of Mexico (FL panhandle, Miss. or Al.)
& usually one charter boat on the Gulf.
---All wet diving. 70+ dives yearly. Like clockwork.
