A dive guide thought he was helping me get my arm through the shoulder strap on my BCD which ended up getting the face of my new Perdix scratched. Any advice on how to rub out the scratches?

Did it not have the screen protector installed? All perdix come with protector installed from the factory.

I am betting it did. It is a sticker. They are replaceable. Underwater you can't see the scratches.

Look really closely around the edge of the screen. You should see the edges of the screen protector. All Perdix computers come with one installed. You can purchase new ones on DGE pretty inexpensively.

Edit: you can see the edge of the screen protector in this picture.

I've found the body gets scratched pretty easily.

If it's a new Perdix that came in the hard case, it would definitely have a screen protector on it. Double check that.

If you bought it new from someone else, they might have taken it off.

Thanks to all. I bought it new. Don't see any screen protector. Otherwise, I love the thing.

I only realised I had one after reading this thread and checking. It's very well applied at the factory and is easy to miss.

Notice the DGE link that I posted says "film replacement". I still have a feeling that the OP might not be seeing it. That's why I posted the picture. It is hard to see.
