We dove with Two Fish, and were very happy

Thanks for the blog. So you stayed a good 19km away from the TwoFish shop at Villa PaoPao - are there cops on the way to check your papers and DL etc when riding a scooter? Do you think it is possible to arrange a haggle free daily pickup/drop in that area for a few days?
I plan to head there mid August and it looks like with the local accommodation choices, one need not book the dive+acco packages with the shop...

If the cops are out looking for "extra" they will stop every single moving vehicle regardless of its condition. Foreigner on a scooter is a sitting duck especially.
To commute 38km round trip everyday is too much for me even if it is FREE.

Ok my tickets are booked and I have a quick question - How expensive is the food/lunch/dinner at this VPP place? Do they accept credit cards? Any other eating options nearby outside the resort? If I want options whats the best location to stay?

Thanks for your inputs.
