Scuba diving Memorial weekend, Comal River

[Laredo Scuba Diver]

I went diving Memorial weekend, Sunday, to the Comal River, and it was a big mistake because there were too many people tubing. It looked like a concert. The visibility was 2 feet vis. I'm posting this message so my fellow divers won't make the same mistake. Happy Diving.

2 feet vis, that sucks, I thought it should be 20+. Never went there.

It should be, except when there are hundreds of people floating above you drinking beer...

We typically go before May or after September, when it's not tubing season.

It is usually 10 to 15 feet vis but it was Memorial weekend.
