Fantastic, so, all the Gen2 parts were used...except the metal air barrel?

Then, you also swapped out the diaphragm cover to the new ones? But otherwise, all the Gen 2 parts fit...with only the air barrel swapped in?

How much was the new air barrel?

Thank you so much for posting these pics!!

I used the kit (45.602.020) consisting of part #'s
01.006.022 Decal
11.602.022 Metal barrel
11.602.013 Guide Sleeve
11.500.024 Sleeve

Then upgraded the cover to the round gen 4.
I want to say it was about $55 for the kit and cant recall it requiring any other parts.

That is awesome!! I am hoping to get both my regs to Gen 2 [one is Gen 1 that is getting a Gen 2 knob]....and will see if I can get these parts.

You are awesome, Mr Sunday!!

I have some kits to convert G-250HPs and G-500s to a metal air barrel and my lazy ass hasn’t tried them yet. I need to convert a couple.

That G250HP with the metal air barrel is basically an S600 with a bigger diaphragm, no? :)

To be sure, the Gen 4 cover is not necessary, right?

Here's a new wrinkle! Slightly off topic, but at least it's re:Mk10.
Was restoring an old Mk10 with my son and everything seemed perfect until the submerged test. Tiny HP leak from the center hole of the seat carrier.
Switched the D90 2-013 (subst. 01.050.147) for a D90 3-905 and it sealed right up!

Maybe put a note on your annotated Mk10 schematic as an alternative.

That's cheap, was that kit purchased before this year? Cheers.
