Hmmmm, I wouldn't schedule a funeral for the DX-2G quite yet. It is still a great camera and has a lot of capabilities that the Canon's have. You don't need too many other lenses than what Sea&Sea offers for the camera. You can stack a couple of closeup lenses for better macro, and there is now a fisheye lens (not a Sea&Sea lens) that can be adapted to the DX-1G/2G.
I would also bet that Sea&Sea is working on a follow-up camera to the 2G.
