I received an email yesterday from Divers Supply with this new light. Seems like the DRIS light but with 50% more output for $10.00 more.

Cree XM-L T6 isn't able to output 1500 lumens. The spec says 1040 lm max.

The XM-L T6 is a great emitter but it has it's limits. You can drive it harder and harder but if you don't bump up the battery (still 3c) then you are going in the opposite direction then what I need.

The numbers for that light make me laugh, typical BS from cheap flashlight makers.
It might put out 1500 lumens for the first 1000th of a second then immediately drop down to 500 lumens or less to achieve the 3 hour burntime....
