I just ordered a new iPhone 14 that has the Satellite SOS system. I was thinking combining that with a housing would be a great combination for recreational diving. I have seen more than a few posts with people saying they would never use their primary phone because of the leak potential. My question is when these things leak is it more of a slow leak/drip or catastrophic failure? The Iphone is pretty waterproof on it's own and won't be destroyed by a small leak It's rated at 18 feet for 30 minutes

I haven't heard anything about the SportDiver leaking. If you lube the o-rings properly, it passes the 3:00 vacuum test every time.

I use my Pixel 6 in the housing and haven't had any issues at all.
