(This is probably obvious but: As a newer SB contributor, just keep in mind that this is in the humor section. There is only one person, as yet, actually claiming the medical condition of Priapism (I had to look it up) being brought on with the use of Nitrox. Use of Nitrox is relatively simple and safe with a bit of attention to the details. Do not let this thread keep you from considering that certification if it would apply to your type(s) of diving.)
It hasn’t detoured me a bit I just want more dives under my belt before the open water so far I’m happy w just hitting 60 feet

Just out of curiosity, assuming nitrox helps erection does similarly viagra increase NDL (among the other things it increases)???

If so, how much increase of equivalent %O2 per pill do we get?
If numbers are favorable, why not consider it ??

And as a side question would you consider a LoB advertising: "Free viagra" (as/instead of "Free Nitrox") ?
Maybe I need to make a poll for this.
In theory it can prevent IPE. Currently being studied at Duke. Thread about that here: Update on IPE research at Duke
It's been discussed on SB since at least 2008.
I'm sure eventually we'll have a boner divers section of the forum for those that use sildenafil for this purpose.

You are NOT being had. I am serious about this, but I am glad everyone is having fun.

How do I get ahold of a mod to move it to the medical forum? Or should I just start a new one there and let ya'll have fun here? Nevermind. I just figured out the messages and someone else created a new thread on nitrox. So, anyone who has some real knowledge can respond here. I didn't actually think this could be a serious issue, but he brought up that it might be an indicator of an underlying health issue, so I am a bit worried.

Please carry on having fun here.

Blah blah blah.

@SharPll sounds like sound like someone who gets caught in bed with a person other than your partner and says "It's not what you think it is, it's all innocent, they were running and tripped and fell into the bed, believe me it's true!"

No one is going to move your silly thread to anyplace other than where it belongs which is right here in the humor section.

You had a creative idea, I'm actually annoyed with myself for not thinking of it before you did.

Now give it a rest. That's what good trolls do. They start the fire going and sit back and watch the flames roar. They don't need to keep stoking it.

Your responses to this thread is exactly what Trolls are looking for....congrats.

Doubt you'll get any better NDLs......but.......you may get a decent lobster tickler!

I have an older relative who has issues getting it up, but he's getting to be at an advanced age where it's amazing he can even still perform. He also still dives on occasion but I have a concern that was sort of "brought back up again" so to speak, by the topic of this thread.

This older, scuba diving relative doesn't do well with "the pills" but has had success with a penis pump which, if you aren't familiar, injects air into the surrounding tissue inside the penis to assist in achieving and maintaining (or simulating) an erection.

What if this person tried to have sex- at depth- using the pump- and then ascended without deflating?

Very likely to get them bent.
