I'm a Fish!
Hi Bruce:
Can I connect the shearwater computer to the close circuit research urbm (universal rebreather monitor) optional independent backup display port on a kiss ccr? Will the shearwater monitor the 3 o2 sensor from the kiss? do i need more connection cable or device? pls advice and thanks:)

The short answer is yes.

You can replace the backup display. You will need a Fischer to Fischer cable. Since people mount the URM in many different ways, make sure you measure how long you want the cable to be.

The system works great. As Bruce Says, you will need a Fischer to Fischer, but that's all. It's plug-n-play from there.

I have been using this system since Very early this year, and as far as I know, I'm the first person to have done this. I have not had any problems relating to combining the systems.

Bruce was kind enough to take a look at my set-up a while back, and we determined that neither the URM or the Shearwater has any effect on the other system (If one goes down, you can use the other without having to worry about re-calibrating)

Hope this helps
