CPSC just listed it will a recall date of Feb 21, 2019 - so might have been easy to miss and not shown up on news feeds before this listing.

So the recall and the FAQ are unclear to me. If I buy a new Yellow transmitter today, does it have a different tranmission interval or not? The FAQ talks about replacing the Yellows with Grey if you send it back.

Yes, it is different than the interval in the Grey.

The FAQ says this in the context of a single-tank diver using a Yellow model transmitter. Shearwater offers to replace the Yellow with a Grey if you'd like.

I don't see what is unclear.
