    I can't figure out if we're still under NAFTA or if USMCA now is in place. I believe the Canadians and Mexicans ratified USMCA but last I heard it was still waiting on US congressional approval.

    From what I can gather, Mexico ratified it, the US and Canada haven't.

    Either way, the cross border labor stuff that allows people to show up at the border and get a temporary work permit are virtually identical between NAFTA and USMCA.

    Go for it....see if you qualify under NAFTA. As a person from San Francisco you'll fit in great in Vancouver.

    ehh housing is just as expensive and the weather is worse. also privately held, so no RSUs.

    Sounds tempting, but no way I leave Span again. Developing firmware in remote would be perfect.
