Sherwood Maximus SRB3600 second stage help needed

I have recently acquired a Maximus and per the manual I have, the diaphragm and diaphragm retaining ring must match colors. I have a blue diaphragm with black ring....
This thing has been used extensively as is, but I don't want problems.
Does the manual info still stand?

If it helps, both my Sherwood Magnums have blue diaphragms and a black diaphragm retaining rings. My brother had these serviced religiously by a certified tech so if it is incorrect the tech made an error or never corrected it...I'm guessing it's perfectly fine. My Sherwood regs work great!

Sorry for the delay...been on vacation

I spoke with a reg tech and should be g2g with my current setup...the manual I have is old. Like he said, since then, they changed vendors etc.
