So be aware when diving some of these wrecks they lie in American Waters so if you do tie off to them you must report ro Canada Customs After you return to Port

So how does that work when you are a US citizen and you dive the Wexford do you need a passport and have to call imaginations and let them know that you are anchored in Canada waters.

Call Canada Customs and immigration for accurate up to date info to enter Canda. Check with USA Customs and Immigrations for entry requirments returning to the US. When Boating back and forth between Canada and the US in the Great Lakes Region a Nexsus Card is the standard document that makes the process in both directions work well. It is Issued Jointly by Canada and USA authorities. Generally Canada and the US are very freindly to deal with at entry. Passports are carried today as a standard practice when travelling, don't leave home without one, specially important returning to the US.

You will enjoy the scenic and fun Harbours of Bayfield and Grand Bend both with great facilities for transient boats. Don't miss the Dive off Stoney Point by Kettle Point a few miles south of the Wexford. Kettle Point also has lots to offer.

There is Port Franks to dock and find food and drink nearby as well as the , marina on the South side of Kettle Point. Kettle Point has many wrecks surrounding it many with next to no diving activity. A great spot to spend a couple summers exploring.

Oh I have dove the Wexford in the past, off a boat coming from the US, But I believe now you need to have a passport and call and let immigration know you are their. I boat dive a lot in the St.Clair river, and I talked with one of are custom agents and he told me we do not need to call the Canada immigration when we dive the CA side unless at anchor but I believe he is wrong. So we just stay more on are side.

Canadian Border Boat Landing (I-68) Program - CBP.gov

There is some good information in that page regarding a document called an I-68. This is a more economical option if you don't want to spend the $80.00 to get a Nexus card although it does not have the same land crossing abilities. The I-68 allows you to check in with Canadian Border Patrol by phone and will often never see a customs officer
