Hi Mouth Breather,
I have a custom made aluminum BP designed for a single tank setup that my kids used to use. If you're not going to use double tanks it will probably fit your needs. I also have a lightly used (about 25 dives) 23 lb Hog wing.
I can post pictures if you're interested.

The overall length of the plate is about 16 inches, but that includes the handle which adds a few. The length of the plate not including the handle is about 14 1/2 inches.
