I'm in the market for a new pair of modular valves for my sidemount setup.
Are Thermo valves worth the money? I've been considering the DGX Premium Long Neck...
I'd love to hear what people think about these two valves or anyother recomendations and why?

Are the DGX valve parts the same or common with Blue Steel or DiveRite?

These were fitted to a pair of AL80's I use for sidemount.
Solid long lasting valve and they hold the bungie's extremely well.
I would buy these again.

If they were the same price, I would always go thermo. They’re just ever so slightly better quality. But for the price, I only buy dgx long neck valves. For the price, the minor difference between them and thermo is negligible. I do not like the dgx regular valves. I found when carrying a tank by the valve they hurt my hand. Seems minor but it’s important. The long neck dgx valves are just as comfortable as thermos when carrying.

I can’t imagine any of the parts in the dgx valves being proprietary leading to issues with repair and service.
