Sipadan vs Visayas? Late June/early July

Can someone please compare for me the recent diving at Sipadan with that in Cebu/Bohol? I was lucky enough to snorkel Mabul/Sipadan as a young kid, which was what first really made me want to Scuba. Finally did OW at 30 years old (in Fiji) and AOW at 33 (in Florida) and now I'm 35, I have the chance to go back to Sipadan and dive there. Our schedule while visiting family in KK might make the Sipadan bit a little tricky, and probably cut into our planned time in the Philippines... it is still worth it?

Diving wise, Sipdan is very special. I used to go regularly when you could stay on the island. World’s best shore dive... With the regulations now it’s a bit of a hassle. Personally I’m not into muck, nudies and critters, so most of the other diving in the immediate area isn’t very exciting to me.
