SK7 vs SK8

Can you please tell me if there are any dimensional size differences between the SK7 and SK8. Are they the same save the magnetic card?

To the best of my knowledge the differences are limited to the Compass Card.

the dimensions are exactly the same. So if the SK7 fits the SK8 will fit as well... the changes concern mainly the magnet and its construction. It's simplified and better performing, means that it covers a wider range of the globe, although still sold as NH/SH and that it's reaction/settling time is noticeably improved.

There is no instruction sheet to show how to install the bungee cord on the bungee mount SK-8. Could you please help?

Check out the photos close up as it will give you an idea. If you still have problems or Hendirk doesn't reply PM me and I'll help you out. I use a DSS mount which is slightly different but the principle is the same.

The Suunto mount is a knockoff of the DSS mount.

Yes, I Know. Unfortunately lots of people are knocking off your mount. FWIW I wouldn't buy or use a knock off.

I too bought 4 or 5 of DSS's mounts for my Zoops that I use for Open Water classes...they work great
