Currently trying to finish SDI OW course. Can anyone list the skills required for the confined and open water portions of the course? We started the pool (outdoor) on Saturday but had to quit due to bad conditions. We only got past the swim test and clearing a small amount of water from mask. Apparently next was clearing a flooded mask, then removing the mask completely. I know there are buddy breathing skills but what else? Are you allowed to list the skills here? I couldn't find anything on the SDI website. Also, aren't there 2 options for the swimming test, one with snorkel/mask and one without? Do the skill requirement vary greatly from shop to shop?
