I saw a small 1 inch centipede like animal in the shallows at Columbia. It was not a fireworm. this critter was white in color, moved fast like a mantis shrimp and was in the shallows where its all sand. I didnt have camera so no pic. I cant find anything in Humanns books that resembles what I saw. Any ideas??? Anyone see something like this before?

Sea mouse? They slightly resemble a bristleworm, but move much quicker.
