For you Uwatec users who may be wondering about SmartTrak compatability with Windows 7 OS, here is a report.

Two weeks back I built a new Windows box to replace my old Windows XP and not so old Apple platforms, and installed Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit, with the new Intel 8 core processor. Works like a charm, and really hauls for the Adobe Creative Suite applications I run for photography and publishing.

I needed a new driver for my IR dongle, and Windows 7 went out and downloaded the correct driver. Does not look like there are any of the issues that appeared when Vista rolled out. My Galileo Sol transfers dives just fine.

Really slick operating system! Glad I missed the entire Vista experience.

Cheers,

Dan

FWIW I loaded the SmartTrak on my laptop with windows vista and had zero problems also.
