the computer just snaps in? It looks like it retains the computer at four points? Just curious how well this mount holds onto the computer - its lobster season et' all, I do stupid things sometimes like shove my hands under rocks forgetting I have a computer attached to my arm...

Also, will 1/8" bungee work ok with this setup, or would it be too loose?

There's a lip on the mount that surounds the either top of the instrument. Trust me after installing you instrument you won't be worried about it falling out of the mount.

We have had ggod results with the 5/32 bungee we offer.
