Wow, this couple is very lucky for many reasons. Can't believe they got off the boat at 10:40AM, and even at 1PM-ish when they made it to shore and then later finally found by a local, nobody had identified them as missing on the boat...

Article indicated they were diving near an abandoned resort.... guess it might be this resort? So they likely came ashore on the East coast / sparsely populated side of the island? At least it wasn't rock cliffs.

Court documents reviewed by NBC..... is the statement of claim readable somewhere?

Crews should do a role call AND a head count. So easily avoidable.

I’ve been on snorkeling excursions off cruises where I’ve watched them do the head count with people milling about all over the deck and thought “There’s no way they’re getting an accurate count.”
