I initially posted this in the manufacturers forum. Thought I may get an DIY answer. Thanks

I purchased a new Sola 1200 less than a month ago. It worked beautifully for the first 3 dives. After my dive yesterday morning, I brought it home to charge last night. Now it ONLY works in the low intensity spot mode. None of the flood lights come on at any intensity, the spot only works on low intensity...not medium or high and it doesn't work in SOS mode.

Any thought on what this could be for a light that is less than a month old and only used on two dives. When it worked, it was an amazing light. I do hope this is something that is an easy fix.

Odd. I presume you have tried cycling through the ‘lock’ mode. I.e. holding the slider down for 30 secs or up for 30 secs? Can’t remember which.

Still in warranty though? Where do you buy it?

purchased it through Amazon. Yes still under warranty as it is less than a month old. I also did cycle through the travel lock mode a few times.

Good luck dealing with light and motion, the company that makes Sola! They have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I will never buy another product from them

Just Tried that and no luck. Weird thing is the low intensity spot DOES come on but that is it. Still no response from Light & Motion. not real pleased at this point

Not real please so far. Called, emailed, and opened a ticket....NO RESPONSE

I had an issue with the switch on my Sola 800 being corroded and not working after about 14 months and 100+ dives. My LDS replaced the switch in 5 minutes - no charge under warranty. So I can't complain about their service - at least via my LDS.

I am going to take it by my local shop tomorrow and have them look at it. I purchased it off Amazon but it is only 3 weeks old
