Going out with friends to the Apostle Islands. Portage canoes, twin LP95 (three sets), drysuit, camping...the basics. Any points of interest we should be looking for? Not particular to any site whether it be shallow or deep (no sea caves), just looking to get after it. If you have visited by canoe, I am VERY interested in feedback. All are physically fit to handle towing, as well as carrying individual gear over land at distance. We will each have a turn as surface support. There is a minimum/maximum packing plan, as well as emergency actions in place. Just looking for sites that any seasoned local may know of that we have yet discussed.
