This is just so tragic. I was in Gizo and Munda this summer - absolutely beautiful place - really sad to see this happened. Already spoke to my friends over there, and they are OK, just in shock. Absolutely awful.

I've been visiting this island for a couple of times already for the past three years because of its very impressive ocean-equatorial climate and not until when that major earthquake followed by a large tsunami strucked Solomon islands. We will surely be going back there of course most probably next year.
