A piece of string walks into a bar and ask for a drink.

The bartender responds with "We don't serve your kind here, you'll have to leave".

A while later, the string, all mangled and twisted up, returns to the bar and again asks for a drink.

The bartender asks "Aren't you that piece of string I threw out of here earlier?"

And the string replys "Nope, I'm a frayed knot".
