Can anyone ID this ray? I saw it in the Sea of Cortez, and I've not been able to ID it.
Some kind of Flat Shark?

Yes, Xta's has a nice bull's eye.
Ocellated Electric Ray, Diplobatis ommata...to be exact.

And to bring it all together, Humann and DeLoach call Diplobatis ommata the Bullseye Electric Ray in their book Reef Fish Identification - Baja to Panama (pages 320-321).
