OK - the first one is a master of camouflage - so thie fish is this part of the grass that is horizontal - not vertical. PLease help me - what is this - the photo was taken in Dahab - Red Sea. The second one looks a bit like a sea horse (it's face) and a bit like a snake. So which one???
Thanks

I think the first is a seagrass filefish, although I don't know exactly what variety lives in the Red Sea.

The second looks like some kind of pipefish, but I can't make it out clearly to help with a better identification.

What Sterling and rockbeauty said.

yep, definitely filefish and pipefish. the first is a seagrass filefish (Acreichthys tomentosum), the second is a little tougher as the colours are not as clear, but it looks like a pointed pipefish.

The second COULD possibly be a tubesnout also... hard to tell since I dont know the types of fish in your area well....
