Yup! You're right. I will never catch up to his 2000 dives, but that's OK too. We're having fun and traveling to cool places. Cozumel is still my favorite at this point. However, I am looking forward to being able to go on the night dive with the manta rays after I have more dives under my weight belt.
 
Welcome and congratulations on finishing. Glad things went well in Puerto Vallarta--you rarely hear much about that area--ei. Mex. West Coast-- on scubaboard. I passed through there driving in 1982 and still have an unopened can of "TRES Equis" I bought on the main strip. (drank the other one 35 years ago).
Well, Tres Equis is dandy but diving in PV was pretty awesome. Lots of lovely creatures there that I hadn't seen before. It's worth going there in my newbie humble opinion just because it was so different from Cozumel. But it was the first time I didn't wear a shortie wetsuit. Really glad that I had purchased a new full suit because I needed it.
