Anyone have some info about shallow dive or snorkel sites on the island? I have friends going shortly and I have no idea. Thanks in advance for any info.

Tormentos Beach was OK - lots of small critters. The surge is pretty fun too.

Octopus diving on the French side does your first dive with them around a small island. Probably does not get more than 35-40 feet deep.

for snorkeling - creole rock, pinel is., tintemarre, prickly pear, friars bay, happy bay, mullet beach........just about anywhere there are rocks and water. lol not exactly known as the greatest island for snorkeling but we enjoy our time in the water when there.

never heard of tormentos in st martin. i think there is a tormentos in coz but might be wrong.

for shallow dives ?? - creole rock, little bay (there is also apparently shore diving at divi little bay) but i have never done it, long bay reef
