Browsing the Stealth Light website, and see that they now have an extension available to the original canister that allows the addition of a second battery - no modifications needed, just plug in the extension between your original canister and lighthead. Kinda makes it hard to belt mount though. It would have to be tank or backplate mounted due to the length.

There is now also a bare lid, which allows you to convert your canister into an "oh ****" can, but you'd basically want to buy a second canister along with it.
There's also a sale on at the moment - $275 for canister, battery and lid. Never had a problem with my battery or canister in over 12 months. Always had great service too!
No word on the site on the status of the rumored Stealth lighthead.
