I was wondering how people attach the bolt snap to their strobes. I used some cave line and attached the small bolt snap. I went to place my strobe and found the rope and chain underwater were too large for the bolt snap. I was thinking of a bungee loop wrapped around the strobe handle for situations like that, but there may be a more elegant solution.
 
I use one 12" zip-tie that can be removed at the end of the dive. Tight against the downline
