i need a new pair of swimming (not Scuba) fins for swimming training in the local pool. Anyone have any recommendations?

Are you looking for short-bladed or standard-bladed swimming fins? If the former, Speedo's new-ish Switchblade fins may be worth a look:

If the latter, Scubapro's rubber full-foot fins are very comfortable snorkelling-style fins providing good propulsion with a range of sizes up to 15:

i have aqua speed swim fins. molded from one piece of rubber. simple, affordable and do the job.

swimoutlet.com typically has the best prices.

They have their own house brand, Sporti, that are good quality though a little long for my tastes.

Finis zoomers are a good product, as well as their Edge fins, both of these are good for building leg endurance and strength in the water and are available as well at swimoutlet.com
