Anybody in here live in the Tampa Bay area? I'm new to diving and am looking for a buddy or 5... My only friend who dives lives in GA so we can only dive together a few times a year. I'm getting a little sick of always being at the mercy of dive charters all the time.

I'm not into any specialty or difficult dives yet, I just want to log some nice easy dives for awhile until I get more comfortable and then the real fun can begin!

:sprint: Between the conspiracy to make me max out the credit card buying beer and airfills and the random pipe beatings that seem to be occurring down there, I am not getting the warm fuzzies concerning diving with you guys.:sprint:

Come on...we are some harmless knuckleheads, whom beating each other over the head with a pipe is a sign of friendship....

So....are we going to dive......or talk about diving?

I have a brand new set of doubles that continues to amaze me at the length of time it takes to get the SPG needle to move. Gotta test it out. Somewhere.

Were going, but it looks like the boats full again as usual. You, me, MissD, and the younger two. Roy Schieder said it best " I think your gonna need a bigger boat!"

Are we looking at "sea tow" again.................not that I mind but please remind me to bring a snorkel this time. SNORT!

Tanks should be easy to find this time. I just want to map the site real quick and see how many tanks we can find, then we can zip over to Veterans reef (then we may need to SeaTow you). If I get a chance I want to map that site too. Most of all I want to see if I can get into any of the pictures I take Saturday. Everyone I show the pictures to keeps asking "Which one is you?"

BTW, did my "Equipment specialist" specialty with the boys tonight at the LDS. Doesn't get me any closer to DM, but does get us all one step closer to Master Diver.

By the way guys... any of you going to Weeki Wachee on Sunday? I'll be there and would love to meet you!

I don't have the extra cash to do Weeki again right now, but, a few of us may be able to meet you somewhere after your done. What route are you taking home?

BTW, you notice how many people have viewed this thread. the numbers near 2000. I guess the title interests allot of members.
