Hello all, I'm thinking of going to Thailand in early June. What are the Sea conditions and weather like? Any difference between Phuket and Pattaya? Thanks, -Andy

The Andaman side (Phuket) experiences its monsoon season this time of year. Having said that, today is our fourth (fifth?) consecutive day of sunny skies and flat water.

Mostly good in Phuket. The monsoon season does not mean so much. You get more rain than normal, sometimes bad weather, but more good than bad. Indeed from November to March is also monsoon season - the NE monsoon, whereas May-October is the SW monsoon. Monsoon refers to winds rather than rain.
