How has this medical statement ever protected the LDS anyway? If the family sues, it is not because the guy had a heart attack, but because the DM or instructor "abandoned them" after they have the heart attack.
When the DM or instructor is dangerous, incompetent or crazy, they do get sued, as there is no release signed against that situation, so they are covering their butts, but not their nuts.

I have nothing to contribute except to say that I'm going to used that last line the next chance that I get.
