Hi Barracuda and other people in the forum,

My name is Victor and I'd like to ask you about diving in Mozambique. I know the thread is old but you seem to me the most reliable source of opinion about scuba diving there after some hours of googling.

I'm travelling with my girlfriend next September to Mozambique for diving. We'll go first for two weeks of "inland tourism" to South Africa, and afterwards move to Mozambique for diving.

Sorry I missed your post before. I would have been able to help had I seen it before.

Did you go ? Which places did you eventually plump for ?

If money is not an issue, look into Vamizi in northern Mozambique. Very expensive, but there’s some jaw dropping reefs nearby. Haven’t been (but want to) — a fellow Swede made a film.

Vamizi: Cradle of Coral

Have been to Tofo, it’s great too if you to see mantas and whslesharks. But it’s not great for color/coral/diversity.
