On having just watched this jem of a film with my 19yr. old daughter, she wondered aloud , '' can't the japanese see the guys underwater bubbles ?' Very good question I thought, kid is thinking.

I explained bubbleless tanks ( rebreathers) were not used yet by the U.S Navy and it was not until later in the war did they aquire them. Not sure of the timeline for the movie in the war but that was what I came up with.

never watch this movie.. but..

if u dun know what you looking at... u would know that its there... right?

if they dun understand why bubbles is coming up from the sea... dun think they will think much of it then... eke
 
The Japanesss couldnn't see the bubbels because underwater fortifications are not very shore
with binoculars ? it is also questionable.. congratulate your daughter .. She is clever girl..
