I write this as I'm watching The Silent Wrecks of Kwajalein Atoll, free with Amazon Prime for US folks.
Shot in 2000 (released 2007, DVD in 2015) this documentary is about Oceanic Research Group's exploration of Japanese shipwrecks and surplus US fighter planes at the Kwajalein Atoll. The movie has a nice balance of WWII history and diving, with a surprising amount of technical detail about the diving operation -- rebreathers, wreck penetration, dive planning, etc. The film only suffers from a few moments of typically over-dramatized shark footage.
