Hi all. I'm considering picking up a Henderson Thermaxx suit. Wondering if, since some of the insulation in the Thermaxx comes from the fleece lining rather than the neoprene, the Thermaxx might be a little less buoyant than a pure neoprene suit of equivalent thickness. Anyone have any insights on this?

Thanks.

My Thermaxx had the same amount of neoprene/buoyancy, but was slightly warmer due to the fleece and much easier to put on.

Bought a 5mm Thermmax last year for Fiji. Nice warm wetsuit.

Okay, thanks. Was hoping, but not really expecting, to hear that there was a little less buoyancy to allow losing a little lead, but I'll probably pull the trigger anyway. I definitely like the ease of donning!

I agree with this. My 7mm thermaxx is very warm and easy to put on. The buoyancy is the same as my prior suit.
