Thanks Roxanne all good ideas for everyone. The horseback riding sounded pretty cool, especially the beach part. Hmmmm

Cardzard found this video the other day so I thought I would share it here. They now have a planetarium in Cozumel. I tried pulling up some more info, but mainly what I found was on the construction of it. I do believe it's complete and I'm sure we'll see more info on it when we get there.

hi
we will be in cozumel for 1 month from the 25 of june. we rented a house for 25$ per day. and dont know if its better to take a packagedive i saw the link you send is 672$ per person we are couple with 1 child (13 years old). we are not expirience divers yet (about 35 dives),
if we take 2 dive boat per day with our accomedation (150$ per week for 3 of us)will it be cheeper?

thanks for ideas

Hello,

I think the important things for you to consider are Location & Convenience.

Your location is the first thing... how far to be picked up by whichever dive op you choose.
Will need to take a taxi or walk... will they pick you up at the nearest dock.
Only they can answer these questions for you.

Convenience is second and again this will depend on who you choose.
IE: will saving a little money cost more in time spent. You just got to do the math on this issue.

I hope this helps you.

Hmm does that mean we've got to sneak drinks out to the beach if we want to sit and watch sunsets with a frosty beverage in hand?

These are some great points of interest and would also recommend taking a look at What to do in Cozumel which has been featured by TripAdvisor and other travel networks for Cozumel Mexico: Best Things to do in Cozumel - The Best of Cozumel | What to do in Cozumel Mexico

Diving in Cozumel is an amazing experience. Grant it, its not like it use to be but what dive site really is anymore with the contact weather change. But if you havent been diving in Cozumel, its a highly recommended to do so at least once or twice.
