Hi I am planning on going to tiger beach, can anyone help me start off with the best expossure settings and strobe placement? First time diving in tiger beach and it is always good to star with some advice.
I own a nikon d850 with 16-35 and 15mm fisheye. And two inon z330 strobes.
Thank you really appreciate it.

What boat? It is highly likely that there will be some outstanding photogs on the trip with you, and they will be able to help you with settings for that day instead of getting generic advice for a trip when we don't know cloud cover, visibility, etc.

I haven’t been....yet, but I have to say I’ve seen some pretty special snaps taken with no strobes and higher end cannons. You may find that you can ditch your strobes for a few dives if it isn’t overcast. When are you actually going? I have 2 friends going down in a couple of months and both are shooting wide angle. I think Weldon shoots the same camera as you. I can ask them when they get back.

I should also add.....please post your photos and settings afterwards because I’ll be taking my Z7 down after you :)

I am diving with epic diving the first week of march. Should I be using more the fisheye lens or the 16-35? Any thoughts on that? And yes I will upload some of my photos and setting glad to do it.

Vince and Deb are accomplished photogs and videographers. They will be more than happy to help. My preference is the shots of the sharks circling around the feeder from a little farther away. My clients mostly preferred the "Money Shot" to borrow a porn term, where the chunk of fish went in the shark's mouth, while kneeling next to the feeder. So what lens you use will depend on the kind of shot you want.

I do not really like fisheye shots of any kind. Obviously, some prefer them, as lots of fisheye lenses are sold.

I'm heading there in a week. Upon my return I'll let you know what settings not to use, as I'm sure my photos will suck compared to the nice ones I see.
