Recently on a trip to Puerto Rico I had an incident with my mini reefmaster where the compartment which houses the camera's memory card and battery was somehow opened and salt water was introduced into the camera. I don't have any idea how this could have happened and I tried drying it out and using moisture munchers but alas the camera has not worked since. I know the mini reefmaster I have is now a discontinued model but with your experience would it be worth it to send my camera in to see if it's salvageable or would it be best to just bite the bullet and invest in a new camera? Any assitance you can give would be most appreciated!
