Received transmitter. It works fine!

They are designed to withstand 3000+ psi while being submerged in saltwater. There's not much that can damage them other than physical smashing and flooded battery compartments.....

You are brave and I'm very happy it worked out for you.

Real problem for most people is, you don't know if it suffered from a previous flood via worn seal or bad battery swap. And if it was cleaned up, you would never know it until you tried it and it didn't turn on. I'm not saying that is the case or anyone may do such a thing, but their is a chance.
