I just don't log dives
I'm not sure this is truly "DIY", it's more a simple trick to stop trim pockets from sliding about on your harness, belt or cam bands between dives. Useful if you don't want to splash cash on the fancy trim pockets with sewn in keepers.

1. Cut a section of 50mm bicycle inner tube ±5mm (±1/4") wide. Not too wide !

2. Thread the harness / cam belt through the inner tube, followed by the trim pocket.

3. Position the inner tube and trim pocket where you want it. Then slide the end of the harness / cam belt back through the inner tube.

4. Pull the harness / cam belt tight so the inner tube is stretched tight around the trim pocket belt loop.

5. Done !

I tested this on my dive this morning. What a great, simple solution!

With the Scubapro cinch cylinder bands I find the trim pockets do not move.

But that is a great idea 'buddasummer' if they ever do move a little.

For bike-tubes, should I probably buy...
  1. 29"x1.75-2.25"
  2. 29"x2.10-2.25"

1.75-2.25 works for me. I use punctured tubes from my commuter bike, but a bike shop will probably be happy to give you a couple of sizes from the trash for free.
