Hey guys,

Any recommendations for a tripod that can get my camera a low to the ground as possible? I got the Joby Gorillapod, and it doesn't quite get me low enough...

Thanks in advance!

A plate with photographic screw ?

Depends on what you are trying to do. Sometimes you can suspend the camera upside down, inside the legs of the tripod, to get the camera closer to the ground. What kind of bottom are you on?

I'll be mainly doing macro video on a sand bottom in Indonesia. I'm using a RX100 IV with a 2100 Seadragon light and a Subsee +10.

Would a Platypod work for you?

This is how i made mine for a Nauticam housing, i think it could be adapted to other housings.
